Creative Health Navigation: Ongoing 1:1 support for your creative health journey
Explore The Ways Art and Health Intersect For You to Identify What Holistic Success Means For You and Then Achieve It
Creative Health Navigation sessions are 1:1 conversations for artists, writers, and makers who want ongoing guidance exploring how health and creativity intersect in their lives.
Part of my proprietary Creative Health Cartography Methodology, these calls typically follow your purchase of a Creative Health Map but can also stand alone.
What Are Creative Health Navigation Sessions?
These are 1:1 conversation sessions that help you:
Explore in depth how your health intersects with a specific “creative landscape”: (Process, Medium, Content, Productivity, Identity, or Sustainability)
Troubleshoot a challenge that came up in your Map or in your creative life
Develop strategies for sustainable creative practice
Work through transitions, blocks, or burnout
Recognize areas of strength in your creative process
Build accountability for changes you want to make
Process what’s emerging as you integrate your Map insights or work through creative challenges
Reconnect with joy in your creative process
Every session is customized to where you are and what you need. This isn’t generic advice. It’s guidance rooted in your particular creative health landscape and what’s unique to you.
How It Works
Sessions are generally 60 minutes on a video Zoom call (see alternatives below). I bring the Creative Health Cartography framework, my experience supporting hundreds of artists, and genuine care for your creative wellbeing. You bring your questions, challenges, and whatever’s alive for you.
We may revisit your Map, or we may work on something new that’s emerged. The session follows your needs.
What to Expect
Every session is customized, but it may include:
Identifying your creative strengths and finding ways to leverage them through challenges
Gaining clarity around what holistic success really looks like for you
Increasing awareness around areas where you have challenges and finding ways to work with them instead of against them
Learning to play again as an artist, writer, or maker and reconnecting with joy in the process
Creating a concrete plan for what’s next
You’ll leave with clarity, direction, and creative momentum rooted in your lived reality.
Session Format Options
The default is a 60-minute Zoom call. But I know that’s not the right format for everyone.
Honoring neurodiversity and diverse communication preferences, I offer alternative formats at no extra cost:
Voice message exchange: We go back and forth via audio messages on your timeline
Text/chat exchange: Written conversation via text or messaging app
Email exchange: Asynchronous written dialogue
Phone call: Audio only, no video
When you book, let me know what works best for you. The goal is a format where you can actually think, process, and move forward.
Pricing
Typically you’ll purchase the first call with your Creative Health Map. However, if you want to book just the calls without the map:
Single Navigation Session $188
Navigation Package (3 sessions) $497 Use within 3 months
Sliding scale available. Your financial situation should never be a barrier to creative support. I’ll do what I can to work with you in a way that honors both our needs.
Don’t Have a Map Yet?
Navigation sessions are most powerful when we have your Creative Health Map as a foundation. The Map gives us shared language and a clear picture of your landscape, so our Navigation time can go deeper faster.
I recommend beginning there.
That said, if you know you want to dive into conversation without a formal assessment, we can do that too. Book a session and we’ll figure out the best path forward together.
Important Note: This is not therapy. While therapeutically informed due to my Master’s in Psychology and years of experience researching and writing about mental health (and living with my own), I am not a licensed therapist. This work guides creative growth and understanding. It does not replace professional counseling.
