1:1 Creativity Conversations and Guidance
Explore The Ways Art and Health Intersect For You to Identify and Meet Your Goals
I am excited to support you in exploring the relationship between art and health. How does health impact your art? What adaptations, techniques or frameworks can help? What does holistic success mean to you?
I help support artists, makers, and creatives in navigating holistic wellness across all aspects of life:
Creative (process, blocks, evolution)
Emotional (self-expression, healing, mental health)
Financial (sustainable creative work, business strategy)
Physical (energy, embodiment, health’s impact on creativity)
Relational (how creativity connects us to others)
And I do this as someone who has made a living in the very expensive city of San Francisco as a full time writer-artist since 2006 while living with a recurring, sometimes debilitating, mental health condition. I come to this work through lived experience, supplemented by research and education.
What is a 1:1 Creativity Call?
Creativity isn’t just about making things—it’s about how we engage with the world, process emotions, and align with our values. And doing that alone is sometimes not enough.
That’s where these guided 1:1 sessions come in.
These hour-long, one-on-one sessions are designed to help you:
Break through creative blocks and reconnect with your work.
Navigate the intersection of creativity, health, and life’s challenges—because art doesn’t happen in a vacuum.
Find clarity in what holistic success looks like for you and develop a plan to move toward it.
Work with challenges—whether emotional, psychological, or practical—rather than against them.
Rediscover joy in your creative process.
Sessions are flexible and tailored to your needs—whether you’re an artist, writer, maker, or creative professional trying to find balance, direction, or deeper meaning in your work.
Areas of Inquiry We May Explore:
How does health impact your creative process, content, medium, productivity, identity, and business?
How does art heal? How has it helped you in the past and is it helping in that same way now?
Are there ways in which art has harmed you or been complicated?
These are the conversations, explorations, and offerings that form the foundation of my work. I help others discover how creativity can support, challenge, and transform their lives in ways that are personal and meaningful. These sessions offer a deep, personal way to do this work.
Who This Is For
These sessions are for you if:
You’re struggling with creative blocks, self-doubt, or burnout.
You want to understand how your mental, emotional, or physical health impacts your creative process—and learn how to work with it.
You’re returning to creativity after a break and need guidance in getting started again.
You want to explore how creativity can support self-care, mindfulness, or personal growth.
You’re a working creative looking for practical support around the realities of making art, managing projects, and balancing life.
What to Expect
Every session is customized, but it may include:
Identify your creative strengths, celebrate them, and find ways to utilize them to move through challenges
Converse to find clarity around what holistic success really looks like for you and then co-create a plan for moving towards that success
Increase awareness around areas where you have challenges and find ways to work with those challenges instead of allowing them to frustrate or block you creatively
Learn to play again as an artist/writers/maker/creative and get joy out of the process
Something else that feels right for you!
Important Note: This is not therapy. While I have a Master’s in Psychology and years of experience writing about mental health, these sessions are not a replacement for professional counseling. Instead, they offer a therapeutically informed approach to creative guidance and self-exploration.
